Protect your most valuable asset: patient information

Patient information is one of healthcare facilities’ most valuable assets. Malicious parties will do anything to get their hands on this information. The risks increase as more patient records are exchanged. VCS makes you more resilient against digital threats and vulnerabilities.

How does it work?

VCS Observation provides essential systems for improving the safety and quality of life in the Netherlands. In this context, cybersecurity has become increasingly important in recent years. It is no longer only about reliability of our systems, but also about security. Find out how we ensure the security of your systems.

Why cybersecurity is so important

If your systems fail, it can have major consequences. But consider what the damage could be if your systems are hacked. Sensitive data may fall into the wrong hands or systems can be held hostage, with all the resulting consequences. All chain partners lean on VCS Observation's technology, which is why we stand for optimal cybersecurity.

Ethical hacker

To ensure the security of our systems, VCS Observation works with what is known as an ethical hacker. Ethical hackers, also called white hat hackers, ensure that you are always one step ahead of hackers with malicious intentions.
• An ethical hacker uses penetration testing to uncover any vulnerabilities in the systems that VCS Observation provides.
• He or she tests whether systems can be penetrated – without causing damage. Purely to pre-emptively discover bugs or leaks.

Vulnerability scans

We also offer vulnerability scans to identify vulnerabilities and close them. These are scans that scan your entire system and actively look for ways to invade your system.
• Periodic scanning ensures the cybersecurity of your systems remains up-to-date.
• After all, rogue hackers have access to the latest systems and gadgets.
•By staying up-to-date, you don't give them a chance to damage your systems.
